• This morning we started to walk around the school and and looked around class and the first class that we went to was team 4 and the last one that we went to was team 5 and that one was room 1,2,3,4 and room 5 and when we went into team 4 they coloured in lots of pictures. 

•   And I felt like I was in a art gallery because we was looking at a lot more of arts but we just keep going to class to class really fast and Mrs Tele’a said that we still have 8 mins and we are as-post to stay there for 10 mins but then we just left and this was the first time that I was actually walking in other class looking at other class and I really liked it because I got to see other kids work. 

•  And the class that I liked the most was room 5 because I really liked their pop art and I proens that pop art was Andy Warhol and her art is really cool and famous and that is 1 reason why I like his art. And I like his art because it is really interesting and it is pretty cool right and this is two of my favourite pictures.

WRITING ABOUT ANYTHING

 

Rubbish

 How we can pick up rubbish so our planet can be a butter place for us to live in and rubbish is very easy to pick up so I know that we can do it. And did you know that there are people from around the world helping us to pick up all of the rubbish, and other things that can hurt our earth. And all the people from the different countries are doing a good job because they are trying so hard and all the rubbish that we put in our bins don’t go to the real bins they go to other countries and now that countries has to deal with our rubbish and it is not fear for them because they have to pick after us. 

When you throw your rubbish in the water or the river or even in the sea then all that rubbish is going to go on a very big island then it is going to break up into little bits then the fish will eat it and then the other animals will eat the fish and they will all die because of rubbish and if we eat fish then that won’t be good for us because there will be our rubbish inside us and we might die because rubbish is not good for use or fish.

 And at the bottom of the sea is lots and lots of rubbish and lots of other things that our sea animals can eat like someone lost something that they love or something that is special to them and a fish or shark eats it. Did you know that rubbish and plastic can hurt all the animals in our country and in other countries because they can eat rubbish too because people in the other countries can put their rubbish in the sea, rivers.

 How you can deal with all of your rubbish so don’t throw it away, you can use your rubbish for a lot of other things and don’t forget to use your head and don’t throw away just use it to make different things because I know that you can do it. So remember to think about other countries before you throw away OK because I know that you got it in you so think before you throw.

 We are talking about wood, metal, and plastic and if you have bottles take them to a recycling facility where the bottles are put into a grinder, where they're cut into small chips. The chips are melted, and that liquid is pushed through tiny holes. They are then torn into short places and carded before being spun into yarn. The yarn is woven into polyester clothing and other materials.

On Monday our theme is art alive. That is where we learn about arts from around the world and it is so cool because we get to draw them too. 

And my was team 5 and my other one was the other one that the teachers draw their faces in different arts and that is what I liked.

1. At the market we are trying to say no to the checkout because most people just throw the rubbish into the sea or the rubbish bin and that is not good because it can go all the way out to the sea animals and wales, dolphins will die by eating rubbish.

2. A plastic bag can kill a lot of animals because they take so long to disintegrate. 13 million plastic bags end up in the ocean each year and it is not good for our animals because they can eat all the plastic things in our world. 

3. Like plastic bags or bottles or any other junk, and it creates harm to our environment and it is bad for all of the animals in this world and other places so we need to start to not use plastic bags anymore because it is bad for use because it is in our salt, water and it is in our food to so stop using plastic bags.

Tuvaluan dance.

 Today we learned about a dance and it was hard at first but then it got easy for me but I don’t know about the other kids. And I really like who the teachers cultures  were very interesting for me because I like who they toot us to dance and some worlds that we didn't know and that was one thing that I loved about the sechin. 

I like people who are very nice and help us when we get stuck. My favourite ones were when she talked about her culture more and she let other kids talk about their culture too and I really like that. And when it was lunch time we went one class at a time and then we went into our class and ate our lunch.

And then we went back into the hole and finished off the dance and when we finished the dance one of my friends sanded up and said thank you to the two teachers and they were very happy about it.

One day there was a family living on a deserted island and then there was a king and men that came to the island and then they asked the people who lived there. 

Can you find our king some food and then they went to go and look for some food for the king but the dad said to the mother that they have to feed their daughter to the king but the mother did not like that. 

So when the daughter was in the bush the dad came to hug the daughter he started to make her some she can’t breathe and then he started to yale and he was crying and when the men that was looking for the girl the dad was already bearing the girl in the ground. 

And then the king said to the dad thank you for your love two times and then he said this will be her grave from this day on and the daughter kava was helping the plant grow and grow and now there was a lot of food for everyone and now there is food for everyone but the mum and dad was very sad that they killed they daughter.

 The best time I had with my family was when we went on a picnic at the park and we played and played and then we had something to eat like sandwiches, chips and a drink. And then we went to rainbow end for kalani’s birthday and we had a racing car cake and it was so good that I had some more and we came back home with a plate of cake and kalani got lots of presents and it was so cool and when the birthday was finished ed all started to go home because it was getting dark and before we go to bed we had a nice hot chocolate and then we got into our nice warm beds and went to sleep and when we wake up we had some yum breakfast and then we went out again.

Summarising

2021 Camp.

 This year camp step up was awesome! I am so grateful for the opportunity we were given to step out of our comfort zone. 

The activities we should definitely keep for 2021 are: cup stacking, soccer and art with Ms Tipene. But, I think it would be amazing if we also  did some cooking and more outdoor activities or things like the cup stacking.

Overall, these three days are really important. It is good for us to step up and be better leaders. I learnt to talk to more people and to speak up.

If I found 50 dollars on the road I would take it  to my mum and tell her that I found it. But I will not take the money because it might be someone else’s and it is not nice to take someone else’s money. 

Would you take it if nobody knew that you took it? Why or why not?

No because I don’t want to take someone else’s money if they don’t know because I am a nice person not a bad person and I don’t like taking someone else’s money.

What if you found $1,000,000 dollars? Would that change your mind?

No, I  wounded because I don’t want to be rich and have that much money and I don’t want to get into trouble. 

Favourite activity

My favourite activity during the holidays when me and my family went to the beach and we had a BBQ and we had hot dogs and I felt so happy because it was fun and I was playing on the park with my sisters and when the food was ready we all had a race and my sister Arizona came first and I came second and after we ate our food we had a break. And when we finished having a break me and my sisters, Arizona, Deandra, and my sister Lynch ran to the sand to get to the water but the sand we to hot for us and so we wore our jaundice and when got to the water we started to splash each other with water and it was fun and we were all happy because it was so funny when we did it. When we got home we got chance and then we had some hot chocolate and cookies and after our little snack we sat down and watched a movie but the movie that we were watching was dolittle and jumanji and they were so cool and then our friends came over so we played and played until it got dark so we all went home and it was almost our bedtime so we watched another movie and then we went sleep because we could see the moon and we were getting tied and everything was tired off and that was when we fall a sleep.

Writing about my holiday.

 One day I went to my aunty’s house and we played with her kids. We also went on an adventure and we saw a lot of cool things and I had so much fun with them because we went to the beach and had a BBQ and we went for a swim but the water was nice and cold but we still swam in it and it fit good because it was nice and cold that I got too cold I got out and then I went in the sand and played with my friends and my sisters and when we were doing that my mum and aunty we cooking the BBQ. And my other sister was playing at the park with her new friends and it was so funny because when she was running she was full and I started so large that everyone could hear me so I ran down to the water and barred myself in the sand but you can see my head. And then we went back to my aunty house and then we had so hot chocolate and it was so good that I wanted so more and we also had some cookies with it and that was butter together and it was that good that my and my sisters fall a sleep and our mums were just watching a movie and drinking some coffee. And then we all went to sleep after  some coffee and some hot chocolate and went to sleep on our beds.

Immersion Assembly

Today is the first day back at school for team 3. We stared the day with an immersion assembly. Each team presented what they will be focusing on, as part of our now topic a world of difference.

My favourite performance was team 5 because I really liked how they did a type of show and that miss llaoa was the one that I liked the most because she was funny and I liked the ell because it was so cool and I really liked it.

                           Im really looking forward to this team so I can do some more learning.

Why do people protest?

Do you know what a protest is? There are lots of ways you can protest, like joining a march, meeting or signing a petition. People in new zealand have been protesting for 150 years. 

What is a protest?

A protest is when you say no to something or complain. 

There are many ways to protest like meetings, tikoi, marches.

There are lots of protests like Kate Sheppard or Nelson Mandela.

What causes people to protest?

People protest about things that they don’t like.

Kate Sheppard went all around the world to tell tall women that they can vote and in 1885 she went to go and write letters to newspapers.

 And she gave speeches in favour of voting rights for women. She wanted to get women to vote.

On Friday the whole school had an assembly and we were talking about Mr Burt and miss Burt and we sang a Samoan  song and a Maori song and we sang it all together and it was so nice hearing a song together again. And I liked it because Mr Burt and miss Burt was so happy and that made me happy because they are both  special to us because Mrs Burt is the boss of the devices and Mr Burt is the one who care about all of as and he is also our principal and we love him and he loves as too. He is the most caring person I know that is in pt England and he is the most helping person in every most different ways and everyone and we want Mr Burt to stay alive for mini years and we want him to do what he is doing and that will really make me happy. And if we look after Mr Burt and miss’s Burt then they will look after as to so remember you look after us and we will look after you too.
